Scheduling CoordinatorI have been with Dr. Kavanaugh and his team since August of 2007. I have been married to my husband, Andy, for nine years and we have three daughters and one son. Two of our daughters have been patients of Dr. Kavanaugh’s office since September of 2006. We came from another practice and I was in desperate need of compassion and excellent customer service. I feel my daughters are in good hands, with an excellent doctor.
My favorite thing about Dr. Kavanaugh is his generosity to all of his patients. The thing I love the most about orthodontics is the before and after results. It is life changing to some patients and that is amazing!!! I believe your smile is who you are. Some patients are not exactly proud of their smile, but by the time they are finished with treatment they are smiling from ear to ear! Your smile is truly who you are and that is what I love about orthodontics.

Expanded Functions Orthodontic AssistantI’ve worked with Dr. Kavanaugh since October of 2006. My duties are to assist in removing and placing wires, banding, bonding, taking x-rays, sterilization, and impressions. My favorite thing about Dr. Kavanaugh is the crazy colors he wears, and his stories that reflect those crazy colors. What I like about orthodontics is that I’m always learning something new. There is never a dull moment.
I was born in Kansas and spent most of life moving around Missouri and Kansas. I currently live in Smithville, MO. I’m married with no children, but hope to have some children soon. We have 2 pugs that are like children to us. I love to sing, play all kinds of sports, and enjoy outdoor things such as camping and barbequing.

Expanded Functions Orthodontic AssistantMy duties include assisting in bonding, banding, placing and removing arch wires, taking x-rays, and impressions. I have been working with Dr. Kavanaugh since August of 2007. I would say that my favorite thing about Dr. Kavanaugh is his dedication to his patients. You will find that he is a genuine Orthodontist and he strives to give quality treatment that his patients deserve. What I like about orthdodontics is having the oppurtunity to help in giving children and adults a great new smile.
I am from Kansas City, MO. and reside in the northland area. I am engaged to my son's father and plan to be married the fall of 2010. I have one child, his name is Damian, and he is 9 years old. My hobbies include arranging flowers, cooking Mexican food, and spending time with my family and the new addition to my family, a mini dachshund named Zeus.

I have worked in Orthodontics since 1997 and have been with Dr. Ed Kavanaugh since 2002. I love Dr. Ed Kavanaugh's sense of humor, his care for patients and his heart for Orthodontics. The excitement the patients have at the removal of their braces and the change of self-esteem is rewarding, especially when they leave with a huge smile.
I was raised in Quincy, Missouri and then moved to Gardner, Kansas in 1997. I now reside in Kansas City, Missouri. I'm happily married to my wonderful husband, Phil and have two beautiful step-daughters, Paige and Brooke. I love spending time with my family and pets. I like fishing, hunting and enjoy helping my husband prepare his dirt track race car for his races.

I love seeing the change and end results, especially when they walk out smiling ear to ear. I was born in Osceola, Missouri and lived in Quincy, Missouri. I moved to Gardner, Kansas in 1995. I am happily married to my wonderful husband, Mark and we have a beautiful step-daughter, Kaleigh. I love spending time with my family and dog. I like camping, canoeing and anything outdoors. I also have a passion for photography.

I have worked here since 2000. What I enjoy most about Dr. Ed is his humor, he makes you feel comfortable and like family. Orthodontics fascinates me as technology and products change. I love to see before and after results. I live in La Monte but grew up in England. I have been married to Douglas for the last 5 years and I have 2 children – Emily and Rhyan and a stepdaughter- Chelsea. My hobbies include planting our vegetable garden, going to the lake, riding on the back of our motorcycle and being outside with the children and our dogs. I am also very interested in Marine Biology!

Administrative AssistantI am Cheryl Wilson. As an administrative assistant, I work at the front desk answering phones, making appointments and completing projects as needed. I grew up in Gallatin, Missouri.
After college and marriage to my husband, Bill, I moved to Kansas City where I raised my two children, Courtney and Brent, and taught elementary school for the North Kansas City School District. As a teacher, I saw how proud and happy children were to show their orthodontic work and now I have the opportunity to see that enthusiasm from another prospective-working in Dr. Kavanaugh's office.

Office ManagerMy name is Robin Martin. I am an Office Manager for Dr. Ed Kavanaugh. My duties are ensuring that the office runs efficiently and that patients are given the very best care possible. I have worked with Dr. Ed for 7 years. My favorite thing about Dr. Ed would be his hard work ethic and his knowledge on many subject matters in addition to Orthdontics.
What I like about Orthodontics is watching the wonderful transformation of patients as they begin treatment until completion-what a wonderful way to build self confidence-with a smile! I have lived in Lamonte, Missouri since I was 12 years old. My husband's name is Randy. We have been married for 33 years and have a family farm. We have 3 children: Jacob, Jessica, and James. We have 7 grandchildren. My hobbies include gardening, the gym, riding my motorcycle, but most of all spending time with my family and grandchildren on our farm.

My favorite things about Dr. Ed are his industrious manner, humor, and how he cares for his patients. My favorite thing about Orthodontics is getting to interact with people of all ages and backgrounds and seeing their smiles dramatically change!
I am from Laclede, Missouri and I went to school in Meadville, MO. My husband and I have recently moved to Kearney, MO. I love spending time with my family, Husband Michael, and our active boxer named Granger. I also like camping, fishing and being outside. I also like to cook and I like to collect antiques.

Expanded Functions Orthodontic AssistantMy favorite thing about Dr. Kavanaugh is the smile he puts on a patient’s face by talking and joking with them as well as the physical, beautiful smile he creates for them with orthodontics. Dr. Kavanaugh has a great sense of humor. The thing I like most about orthodontics is the fact that there is never a day that goes by that something new is not learned. I was born and raised in Chillicothe, Missouri. My hobbies consist of anything that involves my daughter, Allie and my family. I enjoy being outside, 4-wheeler riding, going to the lake, camping, and boating-I love the summer time!!
